I'm a CPA with over 25 years of experience across public practice, industry, and executive leadership, including roles as controller, CFO, and advisor to TSX-listed companies. Today I lead CPA-supervised bookkeeping and payroll for small businesses who want the accuracy of a CPA without the cost of a full-time hire. Teaching has always been a big part of who I am. I spent more than 15 years as an accounting professor at Capilano University and Okanagan College, where I focused on helping students not just learn accounting, but truly understand it. My approach has always been about making complex ideas clear, practical, and useful in the real world. That same philosophy now shapes how I work with my clients. I've brought what I developed in the classroom into my work with business owners. I help them understand their financial reports and key metrics, identify what matters most in their business, and see what is actually happening so they can make thoughtful, informed decisions. My clients see me as a partner and a steady source of support behind the scenes. Together, we put systems and reporting in place that run smoothly. We integrate technology, automation, and AI where it makes sense, while always relying on sound professional judgment. My background includes a CPA designation, a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Master's degree in Learning and Technology.
